About Air Operated Test Pump Assembly

Fluidyne Air-Hydro Test Pump or Air Operated Hydro Test Pump is a versatile pump designed for performing a hydro test or "proof test" on tubing, piping, sprinkler systems, fire extinguisher cylinders, boilers, pressure vessels, components and castings. It has a hydraulic cylinder coupled to a larger size reciprocating pneumatic cylinder which multiplies the air pressure to give a much higher hydraulic pressure. When the pressures are matched the reciprocation of the air cylinder automatically stops. The pressure build up is automatic, steady and smooth and the same can be controlled by regulating the air pressure through an air pressure regulator. It is ideal for all kind of hydro-testing jobs for testing tubes, pipes, pressure vessels, tanks, fabricated components and castings.
